Riverwood Ramble

Naremburn to Salt Pan Creek
– Or –
Riverwood Ramble

Salt Pan Creek is at the headwaters of the Georges River in the suburbs of Riverwood and Peakhurst. There are extensive recreational areas and a large area of mangroves crossed by board-walks. The M5 motorway crosses overhead on an elevated roadway.
We ride there via Darling Harbour, Anzac Bridge, Hawthorn Canal, Cooks River and on a bike path underneath the M5. We return via train from Riverwood station to St Leonards, which is only a short distance from the start.

The riding distance is about 35 km.
