Bundeena is on the southern side of Port Hacking and is an enclave in the Royal National Park.
We ride there via a train trip to Waterfall via the a scenic route in the National Park through the small enclave of Maianbar and the camping grounds at Bonnie Vale. We return via a ferry to Cronulla and then a train from Cronulla station back to the city.
The riding distance is about 30 km.

Places for breaks

Coffee at Central before departure, and lunch at Bundeena or Cronulla prior to catching the train back.

Timing

Start 7.54 am from Central. Arrives Waterfall 8:39 am
The ferry leaves Bundeena at 12:00 2:00 3:00 pm and takes 30min. No 1:00pm ferry.
The train departure times from Cronulla and arrival at Central are:

2:02pm — 2:53pm

2:15pm — 3:08pm

2:35pm — 3:28pm

2:40pm — 3:33pm

We may need to change trains at Central.

Cycling in National Park, somewhat hilly. Short section of walking track from Maianbar to Bonnie Vale.
